Shannyn Sossamon played the lead female in Wristcutters an edgy black comedy. The film received nominations from a number of categories including The Sundance Grand Jury Prize and Independent Spirit Awards as well as Humanitas Prize. The Holiday, Dirt, Catacombs and Dirt on FX came next. It was also possible for her to appear on CBS' vampire series Moonlight as the lead character Coraline Duvall. Her character was later featured in One Missed Call and she received nominations for The "Choice Film Actress for Horror" Award in the 2008 Teen Choice Awards.
