A cult American actress from the Sixties, tall Nancy Kovack was mainly unforgettable in the imagination of guys aged my own age due to her performance as Medea in the awesome action/fantasy film Jason and the Argonauts. It's odd that her screen time is a bit less than the one we have in mind today from this film, yet everyone agrees that her sexy dance number is a highlight To top the list, it's been reported that her voice was out-dubbed by soon to be Bondgirl Honor Blackman. Perhaps because she needed an elegant British accent? I adore these vintage films where everybody talks Shakespearian... However, Nancy Kovack was instantly famous on film and TV screens, mainly for her amazing cheekbones, and the flamboyant eye. It's hard to believe Nancy Kovack was not a problem being on screen alongside Tarzan. Batman. The Three Stooges. Vincent Price. Dean Martin. Captain Kirk. Nancy Kovack was a very fascinating woman. Her characters' solid determination? Perhaps it's her gorgeous appearance? Somehow, Nancy confessed in never wanting to become a film star. She preferred supporting parts. But her 15-year career contains many gems and surprises.
