Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in the city of New York on 22 November 1984) The versatility of her work as an actor has garnered many accolades, from dramas of the past, to thrillers and adventure. Johansson grew up within New York City as the daughter of an architect, and also the owner of a production company. Hunter, her twin brother, and she were all the smallest of a family of four. As a child she started performing. In fact, by the age of 7 She had auditioned for commercials in a variety of different ways. After a short time beginning her study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. In the years following it was the time that the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. Her debut came as an actor in the film North (1994) aged nine. When she was eight years old, she was a part of Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson appeared next as a character in Just Cause (1996), however the film Manny & Lo 1996 that made her famous. The movie is about two young girls that run away. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was the role of a teenage girl who has a deformity caused by an accident, earned her critical acclaim. In Ghost World 2001 (as the cynical teenage outcast Rebecca) Johansson received even more recognition. She is best known for her role as Nell Jones from the CBS sensation NCIS Los Angeles. The award-winning actress was the main member of the cast. In addition to appearing in the show, she is also an accomplished stage actor. She delivered stunning performances in Wildflower and in other productions. Renee Felice Smith started her profession in the entertainment industry from a very young age. It was her love of acting as a child. Smith found her first role as an actor at six years old thanks to her parents. Smith appeared in a Dannon TV commercial. Like the majority of actresses just beginning to get their feet wet, she would work on her skills in theatre. When she performed her stage debut in Wildflower she would also work with various theatre projects in the USA. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
